Co-chairs

LFFA co-chairs are selected from amongst the nine delegates that make up the Executive Committee.

Executive Committee

LFFA Executive Committee members are selected from amongst the signatory delegates that are appointed by each member Nation. Seats on the committee are allocated by subregion based on the number of Nations that are located there.

LFFA Co-Chair

Wileleq has been a vocal advocate for salmon and salmon people in the Lower Fraser for decades. An active fisher, Wileleq’s leadership career starting during the intense struggles of the 1980s when he witnessed confrontations between Indigenous fishermen and government authorities. He serves as the delegate for both Kwakwa’apilt & Tzeachten First Nations.

Sally Hope

LFFA Co-Chair

Sally brings extensive experience in Indigenous rights and land and resource management to her role at the LFFA. She has worked in management roles for several Nations along the Lower Fraser. Sally comes from an avid fishing family who practices wind dry fishing in the Fraser Canyon, and serves as the delegate for Seabird First Nation.
